LTHS-Hockey 1
Learn to Hockey Skate 1 is intended for skaters who have completed either Snowplow Sam 2, Basic 1 or Adult 1. Stick optional. All skaters must wear hockey skates.
LTHS-Hockey 2

LTHS-Tot Hockey
Tot Hockey is a great way for your little one to TRY hockey. This hour long class will allow skaters to play with gear, sticks and pucks and hopefully spark their interest in joining our Learn to Play program. We provide the protective gear, you provide the stick, jersey and the HECC approved helmet. Please arrive early to dress. Pre-requisite of Hockey 1 is required. This class does not fullfill the prerequisite of Hockey 2, required to participate in Learn to Play. Ages 4-8 only.
LTS-Adult 1
Adult 1 is for beginning adult skaters and will cover the following skills: falling and recovery, forward marching, forward two foot glide, forward swizzles, rocking horse, dip, and forward snowplow stop.
LTS-Adult 2
Adult 2 is for adult skaters who have passed Adult 1 and will cover the following skills: forward skating, forward one foot glides, forward slalom, backward skating, backward swizzles, and two foot turn in place.
LTS-Adult 3
Adult 3 is for adult skaters who have passed Adult 2 and will cover the following skills: Forward stroking forward half swizzle pumps, forward to backward and backward to forward two foot turns, backward skating, forward chasses, and backward snowplow stop.
LTS-Adult 4
Adult 4 is for adult skaters who have passed Adult 3 and will cover the following skills: Forward outside edges, forward inside edges, forward crossovers, backward one foot glides, backward half swizzle pumps, and hockey stops.
LTS-Adult 5
Adult 5 is for adult skaters who have passed Adult 4 and will cover the following skills: Backward outside edges, backward inside edges, backward crossovers, forward outside three turns, forward swing rolls, beginning two foot spins.
LTS-Basic 1
Basic 1 is for beginning skaters age 6-14 and will cover the following skills: Sit and stand on ice, forward march, forward two foot glide, dip, forward swizzles, backward swizzles, beginning snowplow stop, and two foot hop in place.
LTS-Basic 2
Basic 2 is designed for skaters age 6-14 who have passed Basic 1 and will cover the following skills: Scooter pushes, forward one foot glides, backward two foot glides, rocking horse, backward swizzles, two foot turn forward to back, moving snowplow stop, and curves.
LTS-Basic 3
Basic 3 is designed for skaters age 6-14 who have passed Basic 2 and will cover the following skills: Beginning forward stroking, forward half swizzle pumps, forward to backward two foot turns, beginning backward one foot glides, backward snowplow stop, forward slalom, and forward pivots.
LTS-Basic 4
Basic 4 is designed for skaters age 6-14 who have passed Basic 3 and will cover the following skills: Forward outside edges, forward inside edges, forward crossovers, backward half swizzle pumps, backward one foot glides, beginning two foot spins, and forward lunges.
LTS-Basic 5
Basic 5 is designed for skaters age 6-14 who have passed Basic 4 and will cover the following skills: Backward outside edges, backward inside edges, backward crossovers, forward outside three turn, advanced two foot spins, hockey stop, and side toe hop.
LTS-Basic 6
Basic 6 is designed for skaters age 6-14 who have passed Basic 5 and will cover the following skills: forward inside three turn, backward to forward two foot turn, backward stroking, beginning one foot spin, t stop, bunny hop, forward spiral, and shoot the duck.
LTS-Snowplow Sam 1
Snowplow Sam 1 is for beginning skaters age 3.5-6.5 and will cover the following skills: Sitting and standing in skates (on and off ice), march in place, march forward, march then glide, and dip in place.
LTS-Snowplow Sam 2
Snowplow Sam 2 is designed for skaters age 3.5-6.5 who have passed Snowplow Sam 1 and will cover the following skills: March followed by long glide, dip while moving, backwards walking, backwards wiggles, forward swizzles, beginning snowplow stop motion, and two foot hop.
LTS-Snowplow Sam 3
Snowplow Sam 3 is designed for skaters age 3.5-6.5 who have passed Snowplow Sam 2 and will cover the following skills: Forward skating, forward one foot glides, forward swizzles, backward swizzles, forward snowplow stop, and curves.
LTS-Snowplow Sam 4
Snowplow Sam 4 is designed for skaters age 3.5-6.5 who have passed Snowplow Sam 3 and will cover the following skills: Forward skating, backward two foot glide, backward swizzles, rocking horse, two foot turn forward to back, and two foot hop in place.
Mom/Dad/Me
Mom/Dad/Me is for beginning skaters age 3.5-6.5 who just need a little support from Mom or Dad, and will cover the following skills: Sitting and standing in skates (on and off ice), march in place, march forward, march then glide, and dip in place. This class does not instruct the parent. Parent must be able to skate in order to help their child.
Holiday Camp-Parent's DAY out
This camp is run like both our Summer Camps and our Parent's Night out. Skaters will have a Learn to Skate-USA lesson and time for open skating. Off the ice there will be time for crafting, activities, and games.
Some skating experience is recommended.
